This cake was made for a very sweet four year old girl.

She wanted a Barbie cake with some fluidity on the dress. Just like a real ball gown.

I came up with the idea of carving the cake to create that movement.

It was my first carved gluten free chocolate cake!

I put some sparkles on her dress and a decorative bow on the back. Too bad you can’t see all the details.

It was such a pleasure to deliver this special order and see the expression on the birthday girl’s face! It was priceless!

Thanks for letting me be part of this special day and trusting me with the design.

The cake lit up all the little faces and was ready for the fun!!

I always wanted to make a hand painted cake. I think they are so beautiful because their simplicity. I decided on this for a sweet friend of mine that had no idea she was getting a surprised birthday cake and it was very close to Valentine’s day and unfortunately her husband couldn’t be by her side that day. Since she invited me, of course I would prepare her favorite, chocolate!!! The funniest thing was that I was driving her to the restaurant and I had the surprise cake in the trunk of my car. I don’t know if you know how hard it is to drive with a 2 tiered cake on a pedestal without seeing it. She was very intrigued with my way of driving, she even commented that she thought I was very tired. I was SO slow!!!! Poor thing, but she forgave me after!!! I am not a bad driver I was just careful with one of my babies on the back!!! Thanks for the fun party with the ladies!!!

This cake was a white cake with lemon curd filling, made for a very special and intimate wedding anniversary celebration. It was very hard to deal with such high humidity on a really rainy day, but at the end the cake shined thru the party. It was the focal point at the table and of the conversations during and after the event. What a pleasure to make it. Thanks Renata and Tiago for letting me be part of your very special occasion.

Sugar Flowers are like jewels for me. They are so special, delicate and one of a kind. I made this for my be loved sister-in-law and brother on their 10 year anniversary. Unfortunately, the weather was so humid in Brazil that they couldn’t keep the flower as a keepsake as I promised them. The humidity is not the best friend of a sugar flower!

Fulfilling a child’s birthday dream with a cake that fit for a sea princess.  Thanks to Debbie Brown for the inspiration and her original creation. Happy fourth birthday my sweet princess.

How lucky I am to be able to bake for my sweetheart goddaughter and niece to be. We had a great time at the baby shower and Laura seemed to love the cake kicking her mom’s belly after each bite!!!
